Battle for Dok Karaz! And how it failed..

Big fight at Dok Karaz today.

WB vs WB, Order had the advantage. Here's how we lost and Order ended up with a huge def tick:
a) Dok Karaz stands on a hill. Attackers have to charge upwards, terrain is not to our advantage, especially for rdps and healers. The problem is LOS. Same situation for Nordland SC.. the terrain is simply not to our Destro's advantage at Fort.
b) They had a full WB and perhaps more. We had 3/4 of a WB. Lack of numbers coupled with..
c) An upgraded Keep. Champion guards posed more of a problem as we had to burn them down before they do too much damage. Their strange leashing pattern does not help either..
d) Siege weapons. they had just one Organ gun at us, but this weapon of war caused knockback. Destro were flying all over the hill.
e) They had only ONE Keep left in T2. Needless to say, every blue went to defend their only keep. .
f) Giving up IS an option. Dragging a fight that one cannot win is prolonging our suffering. Take the fight elsewhere. Play smart, this game's all about strategy. And loot of course :D

Won't comment much on the one player that insisted the WB try to take the Keep. The WB tried and Order went laughing to their WC to collect their influence reward :(  And after the failed Keep take, I found this same player chilling out at our WC, opening a Gold Bag and taking out SCOUT MEDALLIONS. *Sigh* Alot of other peeps could have used that Obli Chestpiece...

Rockin' Day in T2

Had a fantastic day in T2 today. Order and Destro had their WBs up and both were fighting for Keeps and zone locks. Defended 4 Keeps today, needless to say, the def ticks upped renown and influence greatly. Now Zooq can get his 1st influence shiny from both Chaos and Dark Elf zones :D And he can't even wear the purple ones yet..

With all this fighting, Zooq dinged Rank16 AND RR16. On goes the Obliterator Gloves! With all the fighting going on, I did'nt even get a chance to try out the new skill "Lots o' Arrers".

Btw, if anyone on Oceanic time zone playing on Volkmar chances upon this blog, pst me in-game for a guild invite if you are unguilded still. There are numerous advantages of being in a guild:
a) Guild recall scrolls. Instant recall with no cooldowns to Viper Pit in IC.
b) Guild mount! Parabellum has access to the 1st basic guild mount, get cooler rides at R20 :D
c) the Alliance provides info on zones(get there before the zone locks!), we have Alliance only WBs and Alliance chat. There are also some plans on end-game PvE dungeons.
d) Since we're on the same time zone, we can contribute to the push together as a team. The US players do their part in their time, we crush Order in ours!

Zooq da Squigherder

Here's Zooq. Today he gains Rank 15 and RR 14. Had a great time in T1, topping DPS constantly in SCs. In T2 however, he's considered a baby. Gear not up to par and trying to kill R20 Order is just suicide most of the time. He has'nt got much actions to fill the hotbar either and tactics is crap.

Influence wise, he just filled the 1st bar in Emp/Chaos and is going to fill 1st bar in Elf/Dark Elf. Dwarf/Greenskins is just...lacking.
Plenty of grinding to go.. just need to make sure rank and renown are close to each other. Hated rr grinding when my Chosen hit 40. Not playing Zurkan atm (though he's got 4pc Invader sitting in the bank) though playing a tank is quite fun. Seems Zurk's abit low on damage as a tank. Sure.. tanks don't DPS anyway but I've seen KotBS do 170k damage in a SC and my Chosen do 50k. How that is possible is beyond me. This is how Zooq was spawned (from a mushroom presumably). I need to live out my DPS fantasies. My time in WoW I played a Tauren warrior and a human warlock. No prizes for guessing which was more fun when the Raid Leader had to shout over Vent to watch my DPS. LOLZ
